The-Surrealists is a group formed by SJ and Danny G back in 2006. We started out just 2 producers from New Rochelle with ambitions of getting into the industry. We then realized we were very different from most talent out there. We were more creative, and all our music and ideas had a deeper meaning behind them than just making another track.
In the past couple of years we’ve had people come and help us in order to get more exposure. A big help came from Greg D, and Mike Shinn, as well as from Era.
You can describe The Surrealists as 2 modern day Hippies trying to make music that the whole world can enjoy. Everything from Hip-Hop to RnB, House, Electro, Rock, and any genre we enjoy.
